Membership And Procedure To Admit Members:-

Membership

The membership of Warsa : Ethnic Knowledge Heritage Society is open to all individuals, above the age of 18 years, actively interested in ethnic knowledge of plants. There shall be following categories of Membership:

a. Founder Member
b. Advisory board member
c. Life Member
d. Annual Member
e. Institutional Member

I) Types of Members:

a) Founder Member

The Executive Committee of the Society shall nominate the Founder member preferable from the Life member.

The role of Founder member shall be to guide and give advice for furtherance of the objectives of the society.

b) Advisory board member

The Executive Committee of the Society shall nominate of persons preferably the senior persons of eminence and reputation.

The role of the Advisory member shall be to guide and give advice for furtherance of the objectives of the Society. However, such advice shall not be binding on the Society.

c) Life Member

Any person paying the subscription of Rs. 5000/- may be enrolled as Life Member of the Society.

d) Annual Member

Any person paying an annual subscription of Rs. 500/- may be enrolled as an Annual Member of the Society.

e) Institutional Member

Any trust, firm, foundation, company, educational institution, administrative and such other Department, Society, etc. may be admitted as Institutional Member on payment of Rs.3,500.

II) Procedure

a. Membership shall be by application to the Society; and it shall be confirmed after the application is duly approved by the Executive Committee.
b. The Executive Committee reserves the right to reject any application for membership without assigning any reason thereof.

II) Ceasing to be a member:

a. Non-Payment of dues. Non-payment of dues, if any, shall disqualify the membership. However, the annual member may be allowed to pay the fees for the concerned membership period not later than 31 st March of the same calendar year.
b. If he/she acts against the interest of the Society.
c. If he/she is declared insane, insolvent, convicted by the Court of Law on charges which amounts to moral turpitude or by death or by resignation or by removal.

Note – Attach the payment receipt along with filled membership form.
